We work for utilities, energy companies, cities, general contractors and plant operators. The job changes from one customer to the next, but the trucks, the training and the safety rules stay the same.

We locate, expose and dig around live gas, power, water and fiber lines for utility owners and their subcontractors. Most utility work starts with knowing exactly where a line sits and how deep it is. Our crews locate it and pothole to confirm, then dig the bell hole, trench or vault opening with water and vacuum, so nothing metal touches the line. On storm and sewer assets we jet, camera and repair lines from the inside.

Daylighting ahead of boring and directional drilling
Pole hole and anchor excavation
Exposing gas lines for repair and replacement
Slot trenching for new service lines
Vault and valve box cleanout
Work zone setup and flagging

We dig, clean and protect pipelines and facilities for oil and gas operators and the contractors who build and maintain them. A right-of-way or a station yard usually has more buried lines than the drawings show, and hydrovac lets crews expose them safely for tie-ins, repairs and inspections. Our cathodic protection crews install the anodes, test stations and bonds that keep steel pipe from corroding, and dig out sections where the coating has failed so they can be recoated. We also bring tanks to hold water and fluids on site, then haul them off for disposal.

Excavation and recoat, including soil-to-air transitions
Anode bed and test station installation
Digging in congested station and facility yards
Tank and vessel cleanout
Water and fluid containment on site

We keep city and county storm, sewer and water systems working, with maintenance programs and crews on call for emergencies. Public works departments use us to clean and inspect storm and sewer lines on a schedule, so a problem shows up on camera before it shows up in the street. When a line fails we can usually repair it from the inside with grout or a structural coating, without a trench. Our hydrovac crews dig around water mains and service lines for repairs, and our sweepers keep sediment out of the storm drains.

Catch basin and vault cleaning
Water main and service line repairs
Street and lot sweeping
Cleanup after storms and spills

We support general contractors on road, bridge, transit and airport jobs. On a civil job, a hit line stops the work, so our crews locate and expose what's in the ground before your excavators get there, and dig the trenches and holes that have to go next to live lines. We can also run water trucks for dust and compaction, sweep the site to keep it in line with its stormwater plan, and set up the work zone. One call books all of it.
Potholing and utility locating ahead of design and construction
Exposing utilities in the way of footings, foundations and caissons
Trenching next to live lines
Dust control and compaction water
Site and street sweeping
Water containment and hauling
Traffic control and flagging

We dig and clean at plants, rail yards and commercial sites while the operation keeps running. Industrial sites are packed with buried process lines, conduit and tanks, and most owners can't shut down to dig. Hydrovac lets us work next to all of it without damage. We also clean railcars on site, jet process and storm lines, and sweep lots and yards. Most of this runs on a recurring schedule so the work gets done before something fails, and crews are available 24/7 for spills.
