Kantex Industries has installed cathodic protection and dug with vacuum excavation since 1991. That work carries on under the Pro-Vac name.

Kantex made its name on cathodic protection: the anodes, test stations and bonds that keep buried steel pipe from corroding, and the excavation and recoat work when a coating has failed. It also exposed buried utilities to get their exact depth, mostly on state and city road projects, and has worked across the U.S. and in parts of Canada.
Kantex runs air, hydro and mechanical digging equipment and helps each customer pick the cheapest method that will do the job. Its vacuum units can dig several hundred feet from the truck.
The crew that shows up is trained the way every Pro-Vac crew is trained, and they're held to the same standards as the entire company. Every branch reviews its performance daily and every job has a project leader for accountability on site and at the office.
